Importance of Eye Health

Some people do not realize how important it is to get your eyes checked yearly. It is common to get your teeth cleaned twice per year. I know no one wants cavities and problems with their teeth. For some reason many people do not like getting their eyes checked regularly. Although I never want cavities or mouth issues, I would much prefer a cavity over a problem with my vision. Even if you do not have vision problems, eye exams can find many health problems as well. I know of one account where an Optometrist I know discovered someone had a brain tumor during a routine eye exam. They were immediately sent to the hospital and are alive today because of their eye exam.
