Car Wash Benefiting the Family of Tristan Sutton
A car wash is being held Sunday July 15th from 8am to noon at BASHAS’ GROCERY STORE - 5310 S. Superstition Mtn. Drive - Gold Canyon, Arizona to help raise money for funeral expenses and hospital bills for little Tristan Kyler Sutton who received his Angel Wings June 6, 2012 at 1:22am.

Florence Community Healthcare Closes Its Doors
In July 2010, less than 2 years ago, Florence Community Healthcare, a 23-bed hospital in Pinal County, opened its doors to provide care for the town's residents.
Prior to the facility opening its doors, residents were forced to travel to Casa Grande or Phoenix for treatment.
This week however, the same healthcare facility closed its doors and moved its patients to other healthcare facilities.
Fundraiser to help 7 yr old Berlin Walk Again
Berlin is a beautiful 7 year old little girl who has Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Brittle Bones).
She recently fractured her spine and then two days later broke her right tibia.
One of the pins from a previously healing break was pushed through the top of her tibia. In order to fix her leg so that she can walk, she needs surgery but the hospital just splinted her and kicked her out because of insurance. Her uncle, Jeremy Roberson, is trying to raise money to get her the surgery she needs.

Who out there attended the Diamondbacks vs Brewers game this past weekend? If you did, you were fortunate to see "one of our own" up on the Jumbotron.
San Tan Valley resident, Emily Saults, won the National Semi-Finals at Chase Field on Sunday and is now the Arizona Diamondbacks representative for the 2012 All-Star Game. Not only was Emily announced prior to the game, her picture and the fact that she was from San Tan Valley, were on the Jumbotron for all to see. She is also soon to be mentioned on http://www.mlb.com as well.
Local San Tan Valley Girl Hoping to Represent Diamondbacks at the All-Star Game
It's been a long road, but 10 year old, San Tan Valley resident Emily Saults is hoping that her determination will take her all the way to Chase Field where she will have the honor of representing the Diamondbacks at the All-Star Game.
Emily started playing baseball when she was 4 years old and enjoyed playing with her brother, Nick, who is now 14. At the age of 8, she transitioned over to softball and currently plays for the Queen Creek Heat. Although Emily's favorite position is catcher, she also plays pitcher, shortstop and third baseman.Local Student to Walk in Footsteps of US Leaders
This summer, over 250 outstanding middle school students from across the United States will take part in an extraordinary leadership conference in Washington, D.C. Themed Voices of Leadership: Reflecting on the Past to Create the Future, the Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) introduces young people to the rich tradition of leadership throughout American history, while helping them to develop their own leadership skills.
Dalton Holley, a 5th grade student at Circle Cross Elementary School (FUSD) in San Tan Valley, AZ was nominated by his teacher, Mrs. Janna Newman, to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington DC this summer.
